A wonderful place to visit -- an oasis of happiness and intellectualism -- with a wide variety of books available there or that may be picked up there by placing a hold with the Cabell County Public Library. There are many activities and special programs for children, exhibits by local artists -- (at present, March, 2017, there is an amazing exhibit of paintings and cut-paper artworks by a very talented artist, Robert Frazier) -- and more. The staff is especially talented, and Jill, in particular, radiates a beautiful glowing aura of kindness, patience, and helpfulness. The Barboursville public library is a shining jewel, a gem in the crown of Barboursville, the Best Little Village in the State of West Virginia.
No Internet no bathroom old magazines
Spent many an hour in this place as a kid back in the 70's
This is a clean, well-organized library. They organize a lot of fun learning experiences for kids.
Needs to get with the times
This staff is always smiling and more than willing to help you. Best librarians ever! This location is small but you can order a book if they don't have it. How awesome is that?
